Sometimes people have dreams and visions
and they just
leave it at that! Well it seems there was a young soldier
from Atlantic City that had a dream and a vision
many years ago when he spotted a shabby old "ruin" in the heart of Gorgona
here in the heart of Panama.
 The
history of La Ruina is a work in progress. The best way to know is through
the experience. Walking through the front door, feeling the charm, tasting
the original recipes, drinking your favourite, and meeting the people. Since
it's intriguing origin, abandonment, rediscovery and renovation to the
present day ambiance and camaraderie of the clients and owners, La Ruina has
a story that is still being written. Just visit and place yourself into this
chapter.
